ECCMID was the right occasion to introduce our new mascot, a funny representation of what we believe Copan is: your best ally in every microbiological challenge. At our booth, we asked many of you to suggest a cool name for the character, and you all came up with great names – SwaboCop, WISEman, Cop(M)an, and many others – but among them, we chose the one that touched us deeply, suggested in honor of our beloved Daniele Triva.
